Founded in 1984, Studio Arcobaleno was created as a research team dedicated to developing innovative language instruction tools. From the start, we have specialized in creating high-quality educational materials in collaboration with illustrators, researchers, translators, and both established and emerging authors in the field of educational publishing.
During the 1980s and 1990s, Studio Arcobaleno actively organized conferences, workshops, and teacher training seminars, helping educators explore and adopt new teaching methodologies.
In 1998, we expanded into publishing, taking on major editorial roles in producing educational materials distributed both in Italy and internationally. Around this time, we also collaborated with the IARD Institute of Milan to analyze the challenges and future perspectives of teaching Italian as a foreign language worldwide.

Between 2001 and 2007, our impact grew as we focused on:

✅ Publishing specialized educational materials and textbooks for English-speaking countries, with a strong presence in the United States

✅ Launching an online support service for teachers and students in the U.S., a resource that remains active and growing today

Driven by continuous innovation, we have expanded our publishing efforts for Italian language and culture instruction, integrating multimedia, interactive, and hypertext-based technologies. Over the years, we have organized more than 350 international conferences in:
